Earth supporters is a Gurugram based, eco-conscious organization that believes in enabling environmental change and combating climate conditions by protecting nature and its rich resources.
ECOLOGY TODAY
Ecology is the branch of biology that deals with the relations of organisms to one another and to their physical surroundings. In today's time, humans believe to have occupied the top most hierarchical position, negating millions of species at their expense. Earth Supporters Trust tries to awaken human conscience and move towards correcting this lopsided ecological imbalance. We work towards transforming the environment with sustainably sourced natural products. We endeavor to engage with precious bio active resources in a carefully crafted manner that ensure the earth is pollution-free and gets restored to its natural beauty.
SUSTAINIBILITY
Sustainability is the ability to avoid the depletion of natural resources in order to maintain an ecological balance. Earth Supporters Trust believes that we should leave the Planet in a better shape for our future generations than the state we found it in. Unfortunately, not many of us are taking actions towards it. Earth Supporters Trust bridges the gap between knowing about sustainability and implementing small steps in that direction. By planting local, native trees and reaping the benefits of its enriching produce, we will be able to support the environment without adding harmful chemicals to it. By reusing domestic waste, segregating our waste into kitchen waste and plastic + medical waste, we can lessen the height of dumping sites, reduce the exposure of harmful gases to biotic organisms, and move towards an all organic natural experience.
PLANT ECOLOGY
Plants are the basis of any ecosystem. They provide us with innumerable things, ranging from Oxygen to Fruits and Vegetables. They form a relation with the biotic and abiotic life around them. Earth Supporters Trust tries to facilitate Plant Ecology to sustain these primary producers. We make Seed Bombs and disperse them near Aravalis. We create planters from used tyres and plastic bottles to reduce plastic pollution, as well as human waste. We undertake regular plantation drives to improve our environment.
RECYCLING USED OBJECTS
How often did our School curriculum emphasize on Recycling? Do you remember recycling paper in school? Earth Supporters Trust aids in imparting skills that can help you recycle old items, domestic waste, or just things you no longer use. By a collaboration of aesthetics, and old items, we can reduce the amount of waste we chuck out of our homes on a daily basis. "Kabaad se Jugaad" is one of our endeavors and we believe in utilizing domestic waste as manure for plants. We also encourage skills in children to create art work, especially paper mache to form seed embedded rakhis, gift items, and idols. We recycle old, unused stuff to create aesthetic and sustainable items.
